Barncats Ensemble (4th – 6th grade)

This intermediate production troupe gives kids a chance to run the show. The program focuses on scene study, character development, choreography and vocal technique and is supported by classes in costume, scenery and technical design. Students are encouraged to get involved in all aspects of the production process.

Providing a comfortable and socially supportive environment is a primary goal for children of this age group who are starting to experience more social complexities associated with growing up and relating to peers. Scripts are selected that address moral courage, friendship and leadership themes.

MEETS: Wednesdays from 2:30 - 5:30 PM for eight weeks, including three Friday tech rehearsals on November 2, 9, & 16
plus four shows with double casting production

plus two performances
