Barncats Backstage Arts (4th – 6th grade)

Backstage Arts is all about making the scene. Students who enjoy creating art, but who do not want to perform, can work on the technical crew. These students will help design costumes, sets and props and then join the acting crew to work as stage managers for their productions. Tuition is the same as the main stage program.

Fall

Once on this Island

MEETS: Wednesdays from 2:30 - 5:30 PM for eight weeks, including three Friday tech rehearsals on November 2, 9, & 16
plus four shows
STARTS: September 26, 2007
TUITION: $400

SHOW DATES: Friday, November 16 at 7 p.m., Saturday, November 17 at 3:00 PM
and 7:00 PM, and Sunday, November 18 at 4:30 PM

Winter

The Aeneid, Roman Odyssey

MEETS: Wednesdays from 2:30 - 5:30 PM for nine weeks, including two Friday tech rehearsals on February 29 and March 7
plus two performances
STARTS: January 2, 2008
TUITION: $400
PLEASE NOTE: No class on February 20

SHOW DATES: Saturday, March 8 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, March 9 at 4:30 PM

Spring

Mulan

plus two performances
